# August 2026

> What changed in Swiss HR Easy in August 2026.

August turned time tracking into a platform built for schools and closed the gaps HR teams reported from their first months in production.

## Highlights

* **Pre-booked hours and month close.** Weeks are pre-filled from the work plan, reduced by absences and holidays, confirmed weekly, and a month-close screen shows what is left.
* **Betriebsferien and Schulferien.** Closure calendars per staff group, all 26 cantons, and manager-approved work during closures.
* **Arbeitszeit hub.** Groups, weekly plans, the year calendar and *Gleitzeit* settings in one place, with a school-year timeline and an openings matrix.
* **Organisation redesign.** A *Standort* lens, filters, circles with meeting cadence, and *Stellvertretungen* with validity windows.
* **Read-only access for the external Lohnbüro.** A new PAYROLL\_PROVIDER role sees master data, contracts, IBANs and the data check, and changes nothing.

## Also new

* Vacation carryover with preview and confirmation; configurable leave accounting period.
* ArG checks for rest time, night and Sunday work; team absence calendar; CSV and XLSX export.
* Applications can be moved to a different position.
* See when recipients open the links you e-mailed them.
* Probation questionnaires can be answered online, and employees see every answer about them.
* The *Personalstammblatt* collects gender, Heimatort, ZEMIS and *Quellensteuer* data and requires the full set at submission.
* Employees stay signed in for 30 days, with silent Microsoft sign-in in the mobile app.
* Stronger data protection: AHV numbers and payslip data are encrypted at rest, and HR staff see only their own org units.

## Fixes and polish

A missing work schedule is treated as an empty plan, the AHV number prefills correctly in contracts, the talent-pool consent page is available in all three languages, and month and week groupings no longer shift with the server's time zone.
